I still have never received an email response from them, so I then called Chase, the credit card company that I used to pay for the order, and they immediately issued a refund. ACCURATE INFORMATION PROVIDED: The Sunset Motel located at 1200 Bridge Street and the Astor Motel across the street at 1201 Bridge Street is infested with drug dealers, indigents, thieves and prostitutes with the so called manager Richard Mang 208-553-5610. I had a costly and threatening experience this summer, as I rented a room at this place preparing for an engineering test in Sept. with plans on steelhead fishing afterwards. Shortly after I arrived I met a sociopathic thug that lived several doors down. Bragging, �That he ran the place�. And he also hit me up to loan him money. He lived in one bedroom with another indigent. He latter ordered me to leave or he was going to have my tires sliced. He also told me he had a big SOB looking for me if I didn�t leave. I had paid Richard Mang $600.00 on the 20th of Aug. for another month. I left on the morning of the 24th of Aug. to separate myself from the proximity and location of the SunSet Motel. I immediately left the SunSet Motel and at that time Richard Mang said, �I had reasons for a refund�, latter after speaking with him the fifth time. He said, �he had talked to the owner and refused to make any adjustment and told me he was keeping the money and laughed when I called him a thief� (this could be considered extortion). The adjustment honestly would have been for $45.00 per day times 4 = $180.00. No, the Sunset Motel stiffed me for the remaining $420.00. But I didn�t get my tires sliced. Called today after my air conditioner went out. The technician who arrived spent approximately 45 minutes puttzing around before telling me he was "bowing out" of the job. Mentioned something to the effect that I had a "complex" system that he wasn't knowegable enough to deal with, and referred me to another company in the hope they were more proficient. Never explained what the issue was and left the heater/cooler system in pieces before fleeing and leaving me in a 100 degree household. A consumer has little recource other than sites like this to voice their displeasure.
