What a great day spent with Forrest. We took 2 of our sons age 10 and 11 and they had a great time. He was very kind and attentive to the boys and taught them a lot about the operation of the boat. He took us a place to go swimming off the side of the boat. This is definitely worth the time and money and will be an experience you will not forget. We first met Forrest 6 years ago while staying at a friend's house in Urbanna. Having sailed a bit with dinghys as a kid, I just wanted to get out on the water again. We asked a store owner about chartering a sail boat, and she recommended Captain Forrest. We called and set up a time to meet at the dock. What we found was a kind, humble and enthusiastic gentleman with nearly 40 years experience on the Rappahanock River and the Bay. Forrest has an unquenchable love for sailing, and a contagious spirit of adventure. He loves, more than anything, to share that love with everyone he meets. We had a great sail that day, and caught a vision for sailing that has stuck with us to this day. Flash forward to June 2010: We met Forrest again after 6 years while boat shopping at the very same marina we first sailed out of in 2004.
