Worst service ever! I rented a memory foam bed for a month-paid for it in advance and they brought the bed 4 hours late-I kept calling and kept being told it was on the way- and it was a used box spring! I refused it and they brought a cheap, cheap, cheap memory foam bed, (but at least it was new). I called a month later to extend the rental for 1 more week and was put on hold for 10 minutes, hung up and called back-another hold of 10 minutes and was told I could pay in a week-Wha?? I explained that I had paid in advance and would like to pay another week in advance. Although I do understand that a large part of Rent a Centers clientele is made up of people who don't/can't pay, I am NOT one of them and EVERYONE deserves to be treated with respect. This was even my report to the Better Business Bureau: Poor concern for time on repair and gave us a washer that wasn't fixed or possibly wasn't ours.had cops called on him at his store due to threats. turned in the washer for repair. The repair wasn't done or was given a different one same model without it being fixed. Promised us 3 days and phone call if it was longer after multiple calls only by us and empty promises. 6 weeks later we got the wrong and broken washer. he cussed in front of my children and wife. Then he threatened to "Beat the s&^*" out of my washer. cops were called and I did tell him he was being "an a&$" after I put my kids and wife in the car. he would not give us paperwork on what he did in the repair and the cops were called and he was sited for multiple other warrants out for him. The cop told us "WE should do anything we can to make his business struggle, he is a cheat and a swindler". We now have a washer that is not fixed and we are scammed by a jerk that has no regard for anyone but himself. He also took video and pictures of my wife and kids and has our address. He was advised in a verbal restraining order to stay away. case #ask and I will give it to you. We have been a bit scared to take any major action because of how volatile he was. Now the problem is that we do not have a washer that was promised to work. I know the problem was a new rear bearing and I know the tub has to be replaced to get it fixed about $750. That was about $100 more than we bought it for and I think he just waited to get a different one in and give it to us. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS!!! I took my lawnmower there on a Thursday and they said thatit would be repaired the following Monday (which was wrote on the claim tacket). When I went to pick up my mower the following Monday, they hadn't even looked at it. When I protested and produced my claim ticket to clarifythe pick up time for the shop employee, he rudely tried to grab the ticket out of my hand several times. I told the guy to quit trying to grab the claim ticket from out of my hands and he snapped at me saying that he wouldn't release my mower to me unless I gave him the claim ticket. At that point, I said that I would take my lawn mower elsewhere. The shop employee and the manager both followed me out the front door yelling at me that I was a liar and other several other filthy names that I can't write here. I then asked the shop manager if he always called his daughter that name and he said that I wasn't his daughter and he would call me whatever he wanted!These people need some hard and fast training in customer service! I took my mower in to Speeds two weeks ago to have the blades sharpened. I can change my own oil, air filter and spark plug but they said that's all part of the service (Ok, just do it so i don't have to sharpen double blades). Bought a washing machine and took it back to hook it up. It wouldn't even fill up with water and was not functional. I took it back the next morning and USA appliance refused to refund the money I paid for the non functional machine. The person working there told me that the individual that was "suppose to check the washers for any problems, failed to do his job."How can you admittedly claim responsibility and then blatantly refuse to refund someones money that was paid for a faulty machine.What a nightmare, I would gladly pay double or triple what I spent there to avoid having to go through all the head ache with USA appliance.These guys are slimy! Interwest Electronics takes "2-3" weeks to get an estimate, and this doesn't include weekends. Effectively, it could take up to four weeks to get ONLY an estimate on how much it will cost to repair your item. Then repair itself will take even longer. Having worked in the repair business for 5 years, this is very atypical. Businesses of this sort should have an estimate within 5-7 DAYS. \t\n\t\n The man behind the counter, while nice at times, is extremely condescending and will attack you if you say anything that he does not agree with. Keep this place in mind ONLY as a last resort if you cannot get your equipment fixed somewhere else. We bought a fridge from them, one month later the water reservoir leaked. It was a large heavy fridge we had to haul up a flight of stairs. Once we called to let them know there was a problem they told us to bring it back. I told them that the fridge was too heavy to bring back. So I took the part off myself and took it to them. I've now been waiting for 3 weeks for the part and all I get is blown off! They say that they will call me back , they never have. I've now talked to the business manager and got the same treatment. All I want is the part I've got coming to me, (it is under warranty) this is covered, I will not be going back to them after that. I have rental units and use alot of appliances.
