We ordered a custom full length boat cover from Haxton's when we first ordered our 20' Thunderjet boat from Sigler's Marine at the Portland Boat Show. The fabric was said to be the best water-proof, and yet still breathable, to prevent mold and mildew from growing on or under the cover, and in the boat. We have had the boat and cover for more than one full season and the cover has performed just as Haxton's said, and it was worth every penny. I still stare at (admire) the perfect tight fit of the cover on the boat every time I lace, strap, and cinch the cover on. When they design your cover (with your finished boat) they custom cut, tuck and stitch the fabric to conform to every curve on the boat, and reinforce every additional stress point on the cover that comes in contact with the boat including the rail mounted rod holder bases. John at Haxton's Canvas fit and installed a mooring cover for my open fishing boat. I was expecting the usual sack like fit. When I showed to pick up my boat, I was most pleased with what I was.
