The Antiquarium Bill Farmer Gallery and bookstore (run by Tom Rudloff) is incredible. You can find rare first editions, classics, the eclectic and the common all in the awsome physical space of a remodeled high school in beautiful, artsy Brownsville, Nebraska. The whole staff was extremely friendly and loved to have us. It was a lot of fun to walk around and explore, plus we found several awesome books that were one truly of a kind. It was sort of like a treasure hunt. and we won! ...read more

Imagine that Abbie on NCIS bred with Dexter of Showtime fame and their offspring were raised in the Land of the Lost with Howard Dean as their mentor. Then these people got a hold of some property and started to do their thing and someone suggested they open up a bookstore. I encourage everyone to check it out for themselves. No one will believe me on this but they were much stranger when they were in Omaha's Old Market on Harney Street. ...read more
If you are considering opening up a used bookstore you will have to go out and locate many books before you open up your store. You want to have a good selection of books on various topics so that people have plenty to choose from. Finding the books can be a challenge, but not impossible. ...read more
