I had my birthday party here in October on a very busy day. I had all my friends meet here and the staff was very friendly and helpful when acoomodating all of us. We had a friend join us who is in a wheel chair who could not climbe the stairs so the staff made room for us in the bottom level of the outdoor area in a very timely fashion and we greatly appreciated it! We enjoyed the day drinking wine and some of us had lunch. Most had the nacho platter and loved it. It probably isn't the place to go for lunch if you are planning to "get in and get out"... This was probably the slowest service we have ever had here, and knowing it was going to be a nice weekend more servers would have been nice. Also you were out of pulled pork which was on your 2 for 25 menu. Need friendlier service, the server was below average, and the kitchen kept stopping the servers. This was delaying your customers from getting served. We come here alot in the summertime with friends. My boyfriend and I were in town for a brief stay and wanted to have a great breakfast to keep us going while shopping in St. Charles. We have never seen orange juice served in a plastic glass filled with ice. My boyfriend ordered a glass of milk and it was served in a paper cup. Now, if this was McDonald's, I would understand. But, this seemed to be a very nice restaurant from the looks of it. My boyfriend ordered the Belgian waffle, and thought it would be served with fruit, but instead, it came with a fruit sauce of some sort. He gave me a taste, and the waffle itself tasted like cardboard and the sauce was not tasty. He tried to scrape as much of it off as possible so he could pour the maple syrup over it. My omelette, the spinach and artichoke version was good. When I asked what kind of coffee they served, our waiter responded, "I think it is Folger's." I opted not to order a cup.
