My experience with Boaters Outlet, Inc was very disappointing and I came away with the notion that they are a very seedy operation. I put $500 down on a 2006 Odyssey Pontoon boat at Boaters Outlet that was listed at $11,999. After siging the purchase agreement I found out that Boaters Outlet had switched out the 2006 motor for a 1999 motor. I asked to get my money back and they wouldn't give it to me, saying that it cost them $500 to clean the boat and get it ready for me to pick up. I am currently persuing legal avenues to reclaim my $500 deposit.
