My husband and I have had a horrificly BAD experience with Home fashions in Carlyle. They began a very costly (approx. $35,000.00 remodel, this amount also included furniture bought) almost 2 years ago. 90% of the total work needs done properly, including the tiling, grouting, bannister work, outside door work, carpeting, tile in kitchen. I will never recommend their company to anyone. I am still waiting for a call from the owners to "schedule" new dates to come and repair all of the items which were not done correctly the first time. A friend stated he is aware of 2 independent contractors who work on a fulltime basis and all they do is fix Home fashions messes. My husband and I have experienced horrible service from this company, They began working on our home remodel (est, amt, $35,000.00 ) close to 2 years ago and they have not been to our home to finish all of the items which were done improperly in over a year. The majority of the tile, carpet, flooring, grouting, bannister work, outside front door work and many other items to numerous to mention were not installed properly in the beginning. I would never reconmmend their company to anyone. According to a family friend he knows two independent contractors who work fulltime doing nothing but fixing Home Fashions messess. We have had a horrible experience dealing with them on a warrenty for outdoor carpeting. Our deck is ruined and we have been asking for help for 8 months and they keep saying they are working on it with the supplier. I would not purchase from them! ...read more
Antique wool rugs are fragile so gentleness and care should be taken when trying to keep them clean. They do get dirty from time to time but they cannot be cleaned like most rugs.
