Here's a quick checklist to make sure you've done what you can to make sure your RV is ready for the Long Dark & cold of an Idaho Winter:   Do you have a dehumidifier? Snow is wet. No way around it. Dehumidifier products help prevent  condensation,  mold and mildew from forming.Have you done what you can to Rodent Proof your RV?If you are storing your RV in the open, Do you have an RV Cover?Do you have wheel covers to help preserve the life of your tires? When was the last time you had the wheel bearings packed?   Is ALL the water gone from your system? Do your Roof Seals need attention?If your RV is motorized,  or if you have a gas generator Has any fuel been treated for the winter?  Still Going RVing this winter? The Morrison Family's Arctic Fox Last December  Here's a few things you might need to help you stay warm! Insulate all the Vent Covers Don't wait until your out camping to find out about any air leaks.  You don't want a breeze in your RV in December.  Check all your window & door seals on a windy day. Depending on the R Factors in your rig,  there may be different things you can do to stay warmer. Pack extra blankets, coats & warm clothing.    You might consider installing a catalytic heater to supplement your furnace.   Even with an insulated heated underbelly, It's still possible for things to freeze up.  You may want to add extra insulation to any partially exposed pipes. Christmas in the Night Sky For Idaho Falls is on Saturday, November 26th (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) here at our store. The main function of this event is a toy drive for new toys that will be donated to Toys for Tots and will be distributed to kids from St. Anthony to Firth. We'll have Santa Claus, Christmas Carolers, Food and possibly a hay/sleigh rides. We still need sponsors for the following: Fireworks: $2,500 Food: $1,500 - we want the food to be free for everyone who comes Title Sponsor: Tents, seating (benches), porta potties, Patio Heaters, etc (I'm working on getting Signature Party Rentals involved with some of this, but they don't have porta potties or benches) Print/Banner Sponsor *All these sponsors would be a main title sponsor.
