We schedulded a Jet Ski tour with Ski Key West back in April of 2012. The weekend we were supposed to go jet sking a terrible rain storm came thru and the trip was cancelled due to weather conditions. Ski West said they would refund everyones money. However, after a few months we still did not recieve a refund. I kept calling every week or so to talk to the manager Mark but had to keep leaving messages. After about 3 months I recieved a call from Mark and he said they sent a check. After I explained that we never recieved the refund he promised to resend a check. That was in August 2012. Once again, no check came. I have spent the last 3 months leaving messages for Mark. As of Nov 11th, I still have NOT heard back from them. I have left MULTIPLE meesages and still have not received a call back or a refund. I would strongly suggest that stay away from this company. Terrible. The staff treat divers like children. They were unfamiliar with modern computers and mistakenly decided that people in our group had "done a deco" (whatever that means) because one person's Suunto was set to have a 3 minute safety stop. They therefore decided that the entire buddy team was barred from diving again. This was after a 30 minute dive at an average depth of 80' -- and even after they inspected everyone's computer to see the profile. (What kind of operation insists on inspecting everyone's computer after evert dive to make sure they follow the "rules"???)I see the owner responded to another bad review by saying it causes him "great distressed when a customer is so dissatisfied that they walk out of my business." Our ENTIRE GROUP cancelled a dive we had booked with them we were so dissatisfied -- and the owner thought it was funny, because he was keeping the money from the dives they wouldn't let us do. ...read more
