Worst buying experience in my 65 years. Scott, the owner has no problem telling you lie after lie or giving you his "word of honor". But that is all you get. Terrible workmanship in their shop!! They advertise fiberglass repair but what ever you do DON'T LET THEM WORK ON YOUR BOAT! Once they get your money all the promises they made during the sale are null and void. We recently purchased a 2007 Glastron boat from the Boat House. We worked with Scott and 2 other gentlemen, their finance guy and mechanic and all were very professional and helpful. After searching for several months online through private owners and other dealers, we decided to leave our information with them as to what kind of boat we were looking for as far as price, features, age and so forth. The boat they recommended was and is perfect. When they got the boat in, they did a thorough check up on it and noticed a small leak in the exhaust manifold. When their initial fix did not work to their satisfaction, they decided to order a completely new part instead. Unfortunately, the part did not come in in time for us to take the boat home the day we were hoping. However, we were fine leaving it with them to be fixed completely before taking it home and they made it clear that they would prefer the boat be in as near perfect condition before sending it home with us. So, we signed the contract including a sheet explaining what they would fix before we took it home. We also had an older boat that we traded in and we got a very fair price for our trade. What we did not notice while there, however, was that there were a few other small things wrong with the boat. There was a crack in one of the tail lights, the back center trailer lights did not work and 2 of the bimini straps were shredded. Even after signing the contract stating what they would be responsible for fixing, they took it upon themselves to order new parts and fix the tail lights and bimini straps for us, free of charge. They even offered to buy us lunch when we went to pick up the boat and it wasn't quite ready to go. This business deals in all ages, sizes, prices and styles of boats and these guys are honest, hard workers. Our experience with them was fantastic. Even though the boat came with a 90 day limited warranty, we have had the boat out to Canyon a few times since buying it and have had absolutely no problems or issues. We bought our first boat from The Boat House. It was used and therefore had some fixing up that needed to be done. When we got the boat we found that most of the repairs had been done, some not. When I brought this to their attention, they fixed the minor issues and we have been loving the boat ever since. Thanks guys, for a great boat and the memories to come! ...read more
