Roger Davis in general is a good company. Great equipment and they allow you to pull more loads per day than other companies. Their pay per load isn't as high as other companies but I found pulling extra loads I made more. Roger Davis himself is pretty easy going. The down fall is his driver manager Chad Chelsie. In my opinion he is a poor excuse for a manager. In essence he doesn't manage anything aside from the schedule. All he does is tell you what time to be in the yard and maybe your diaries. Any issue's they may occur he runs to Roger for everything. If you work for them make sure you are buddies with Chad or he will throw you under the bus every chance he gets. one of their truck broke my car windshield from a rock and concrete they were hauling and they claimed it was road hazard...of course their Insurance carrier won't pay....easy for them to refuse to pay unless taken to court...public taxpayers shouldn't have to absorb damage to their cars caused by Heritage...after all we are paying their contract.. ...read more
