I have shopped at becks for many years and up until this last year had been more than satisfied. This last year something has changed and I do not know what it is. I always bought chuck roasts for pot roasts. The last three have been so tough you could barely chew them. Have always bought tenderloins, the last year they have been stringy and cook up to almost nothing. I love slow cooked pork for pulled pork, I asked the butcher for that kind of roast and, cooked it the same as I always have, and I had to throw a good portion away it was so tough. If you live in this area you have to make this place your local meat market...forget..... The Pig,Pick n Save, and all of the other BIG stores..Becks has by Far the best meat in town. They have Two Locations one in the country and one just a lil past Downtown.. I've been to both,,,all I can say is they rock... The Meat is always fresh and very tender... and it has an excellent taste. And the boys will literally "stand behind everything they sell"!! Ps... They have other things there too... MMM....
