Now that 2011 is behind us it is time to look forward. How would you like it if you could save your company money on maintenance costs? We give free cost analysis and are helping several local businesses save money on their maintenance costs.AMSOIL Signature series line of oils is great for fleets with gas engines and the AMSOIL diesel oil line is great for diesels. For all vehicles I recommend an oil analysis program but for companies using diesel engines this is even better for you. AMSOIL has been shown to last over 400k miles in OTR trucks with the AMSOIL Bypass filter. Don't want to use a Bypass filter kit how does 60-90k miles on an oil change sound. Most OTR trucks have a maintenance interval of around 30k miles and the costs can add up quick. What if I don't have an OTR truck? I have a seen dump trucks go over 900 hours on an oil change with normal maintenance intervals at 250 hours. That can definately save you some moeny there. Also with using AMSOIL's DEO 5w40 diesel oil I've seen fuel mileage increases up to 15%. Sounds crazy I know but you do the math 16.5mpg to 19.2 in a 2011 6.7 Powerstroke Ford. I did have a dump truck snow plow operator show me that they gained 30% but that is not typical. AMSOIL has seen an average of 6.5% increase in some of their tests. Ok, for those that don't have the larger trucks and have a fleet of taxis or smaller gas engine vehicles - AMSOIL has the Signature series oil -that lasts 15k miles in severe duty applications and AMSOIL has filters for most vehicles that last the same length of time. Going “Green” Did you know that you can “GO GREEN” by extending your oil change intervals? Many manufacturers’ are recommending oil change intervals anywhere from 6,500 to 12,000 miles on some of the European models (most require synthetic oil be used for the longer drain intervals). That information is in your owner’s manual. Most dealerships, garages and quick lubes still suggest 3,000 miles. You might ask yourself why do they do suggest 3,000 miles when the owners manual says I can go 6,500 miles between oil changes? Here are a couple of reasons – many repair shops, quick lubes use the cheapest conventional oil they can find and that oil does not last much longer than 3 months or 3,000 miles. Another reason is they want the repeat business – by having you come in for a 3,000 mile oil change they get to charge you 4 times for what you really only need to pay for once or twice. For years now, AMSOIL has been making high quality synthetic oil that lasts 25,000 miles or once a year. AMSOIL is the First in Synthetics since 1972. AMSOIL offered the 25,000-mile oil change back then. Imagine how much waste oil would be saved if every passenger car in the used that oil. There are approximately 243 million passenger cars on the roads today (not counting taxis, trucks, and buses), if every car required 5 quarts of oil and drove an estimated 15,000 miles a year, and typically changed their oil at 5,000 miles that would save 600 million gallons of waste oil a year. Not only would there be less waste oil, less oil filters, and less chances for oil spills while changing your oil. Just imagine how that would help the environment! In addition to the waste oil saved, conventional oil burns at a lower temperature creating more emissions pollution, damaging deposits, reduced engine life, and reduce fuel economy. By using a high quality synthetic oil like AMSOIL, not only can you extend your oil change interval, reduce cost, reduce emissions, prolong engine life and you increase fuel economy. Saving you money, time and the environment. This article written by Holley Motorsports LLC – AMSOIL Direct Jobber Milwaukee, WI for more information please visit www.synthetics4u.com ...read more
