Although I find Mrs. Harris to be talented enough to work in a mediocre salon, her attitude and customer service is SEVERLY LACKING. She walks and speaks with the "enlightened," self-righteous indignation of a five-year old and only talks about the highly-dramatic events in her life. She is dissatisfied with all around her and you can never thank her enough for her services. Be especially careful if you're a kind person, as the session can quickly morph into an exhausting browbeating. As a testament to Mrs. Harris' own judgmental, cruel and immature views, at this very moment, the banner on her Facebook page says "Well behaved women rarely make history." I've been going to Sheila Harris for over a year now, and I love my results. I have been getting the Keratin Smoothing treatments on my hair which has natural curl and frizz. My hair is so smooth. It is worth the money! I started out with the Express treatment which last 6 weeks, but now I've moved onto the full service which last 5 months with my hair. I am in heaven! I'm new in town, and found myself without a hair stylist. I didn't know where to go until my friend Carol recommended me to the stylish hands of Sheila Harris. Petite Retreat is located in a beautiful building in central park, which is very convenient for me to say the least. Phenix salon suites is a very nice, upscale location, and I love how Petite Retreats room was decorated. I was even more pleased at the site of my new hair. There is nothing better then leaving a salon feeling beautiful again. It was much needed! I felt like I could conquer the world or at least Wegmans on a Saturday afternoon!!!
