Bought 2 promotional vouchers from Living Social in March. UNABLE to get either car scheduled though 12 June...ALL cancelled by Supplier not CLIENT. The reason you pay extra for "Mobile detailing" is for the convenience factor-- . apparently the owners of Mobile and Lone star detailing take that to mean for THEIR convenience not yours. SO they took my money $260 USD) and did not deliver any service-- this is called fraud. Rescheduled ( LONE STAR MOBILE/PROFESSIONAL Mobile DETAILING ) at their convenience four times (once because one employee had "digestive issues" once again, with less than 4 hours notice, for an 0700 appt. this Monday , due to "possible rain") -- THIS is in spite of the fact that we have a two car garage to work in and no rain in the forecast or reality here. A business model that revolves around one employee not being sick is a pretty fragile and unstable business. Finally cancelled altogether and took it to my dealer for a detail and got a loaner car.....for $129.00. Very disappointed in the lack service and the price / value : Both by the detailer (LONE STAR/PROFESSIONAL) and by LIVING SOCIAL in helping resolve the issue they marketed to the public. So NOW we have $260 USD in "Living Social "Deal bucks" instead of returning my cash to me-- what a rip off. On top of it all-- The LIVING SOCIAL "HELP" number is disconnected and "not a working number" Ask for a Refund” but still think you’re eligible, please contact us at 202-400-2100. You can reach us from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. I paid $129.99 dollars EACH for two mobile detailing vouchers. The detail servce has repeatedly failed to show up for appts and cancelled late -- most recently at 0359AM for a 0700 AM appt. The exterior car wash was broken so I was only getting an interior clean. After 45 min I went and asked how much longer it would be. He told me another 15-20 min at least. When I told him I'd been waiting 45 min already John lost it. He told me "to get the F*CK out of his store" and yelled at me in front of customers. I tried to contact the owner but you can only email them. I did so and have had no response. I left with a half cleaned car and tears in my eyes. ...read more
