I read the review about the lotions. There must be some mistake. Maybe it was an accident. I know that there has been some change in a few employees, perhaps this is why. I just know that every time I visit Rockport I make it a point to shop here. The owner is awesome and I love their merchandise. While in this store this past weekend i was extremely upset by what i saw! I was looking at some of the lotions that they have in their store and they had some samples, samples that were supposed to be free and state NOT FOR RESALE on the back! well, comforts of home thought they would be sneaky and cover the not for resale marking on the package with a price tag to sell the "free" samples! Not only are they trying to rip off the customers that come in the store they are also BREAKING THE LAW!!! when the label says not for resale it means NOT FOR RESALE!! These people should be ashamed of themselves....I will never shop at this store again and you can believe i will spread the word! ...read more

I love this store. Although I live in central Illinois, I had the pleasure of visiting a high school classmate in south Texas who took me to Comforts of Home. The gals are so friendly and so helpful, and the merchandise is outrageously wonderful. I have been back several times and plan to go again next month. I've bought large pieces, which they have graciously shipped for me, and I've purchased small pieces. I've received pieces that were broken in the mail, and the gals always work with me to get the items replaced immediately. Rockport has been named one of the 100 best arts communities in the USA. One of the reasons has to be the artful stores and galleries, like Comforts of Home.
