I would first point out that travertine has several different grades (qualities) and Yates Flooring will match any Dallas price if it is for the same quality of product. As far as Yates sales professionals being rude or dishonest, that just is not the case. You do not survive for 35 years in this business climate without being honest, dependable and service oriented. Yates always has and always will go above and beyond the norm to make sure that their customers are pleased with their purchase. We admit to being human with the accompanying flaws but we always make every effort to right every wrong at whatever the cost. It is sad that someone can post such negative comments without substance, especially since he didnt even purchase carpet from us. I depend on the review system also but I would highly recommend that we all research any information that is being posted whether good or bad. Dont shop at Yates Flooring unless you like rude salespeople and dishonest pricing practices. These people are extremely unprofessional. They will quote you one price and try to bump you to a higher price by saying that they made some sort of mistake in the pricing. I am sorry but when you quote a price you need to honor it regardless if you made a mistake or not. It is not the customers fault so dont try to tack on $1000s of dollars extra on the customers bill. I would never do business with such a dishonest company. This is my third negative experience with this company. Do yourself a favor, they have a nice showroom so find out what you want there and take it to a reputable dealer like Carpet One and get them to beat the price and do the installation. Antique wool rugs are fragile so gentleness and care should be taken when trying to keep them clean. They do get dirty from time to time but they cannot be cleaned like most rugs.
