I have tried so many salons in Charleston and took two years to find this gem of a place. All the girls who work there are so friendly and down to earth. The location is so convenient, (much better than trying to park downtown) and parking is a cinch. It's right in the middle of Ion, which is an adorably cute little area. I feel like my stylist really cared about me and gave me the most beautiful color I've ever had. My cut is sooo easy for me to take care of at home. She showed me what I was doing wrong with my blowdry, so now I can make it look almost as good as she can at home! Just a few tips made the biggest difference for me. Walking in to the Mom Spa equals instant relaxation. The ambiance is soothing, the robes are warm and cuddly there are complimentary teas and treats in the lounge. I love the soothing sounds. As a busy healthcare provider, mom, wife etc. it is such a treat to take the time to indulge a little. The facials are my favorite! My skin feels so wonderful after the facial I try not to wear makeup for several hours (kind of hard when you are the 'other" side of 40:).
