Lowes used a very unprofessional contractor for a job on my parents house. The contractor tore out some of the windows and then figured out that they had not brought enough supplies to continue the job. They left to get the supplies at Lowes, but never came back or called to say that they would not be back! They didn't cover up the windows to prevent the cold wind from freezing the house and left all of the building supplies uncovered and exposed to the weather! Apparently the contractor did not want to do the job and my parents had to fight with Lowes to send someone out to finish the job. They came to an agreement, but Lowes sent the same contractor out! Again the contractor didn't do very much and is causing problems again. What kind of business hires incompetent contractors, receives customer complaints about them that ruin their reputation, and then sends those same bad contractors out on the same job?! I would strongly recommend anyone other than Lowes for installations. ...read more
Antique wool rugs are fragile so gentleness and care should be taken when trying to keep them clean. They do get dirty from time to time but they cannot be cleaned like most rugs.
