The owner of this was very nice when my husband and I would bug him with questions about a car we were looking to purchase through his buy here...pay here program. He was very kind, and very willing to work with us. The customer service that we received up until and the day that we actually purchased the car was wonderful...but then it was all down hill from there!!!! Mind you...I must be honest we did by the car AS IS, but we assumed with how kind he was, and the fact that it was a mechanic shop where we were purchasing the car from that it would have been maintained in the sense that you would not want to put a car with your name on it...on the road that could potentially kill someone because it was not safe in any way. He did not tell us that anything was wrong with the vehicle...he lead us to believe the car at been well maintained and it was definitely ready for the road. It was 2 weeks and 3 days from when we drove the car off the lot that my husband and I were stranded in the middle of a very dangerous curve on a highly traveled road. We paid $255 to have the car towed to a mechanic, and then slowly found out the terrible news that the clutch was completely burnt, the slave cylinder was cracked, and the master cylinder was cracked. We were told on many occasions that we were lucky to be alive because of the fact that our master cylinder works along side our breaks and we were fortunate to be able to stop. We then learned as the opened our car up and started the process of replacing everything that the underneath the top layer everything was completely rusted, and looked the car had been sitting for years. I am not asking for this shop to give me a car that was 100% and everything was good to go, but I do feel that this should have been looked into and been told to us at the time of purchase that these things were going to need to be replaced in the very near future. I have since called this shop looking for a call back just to make them aware and discuss the situation, but no one has been decent enough to return a call. I would highly advise that you look elsewhere to purchase a vehicle, and to get work done. They are not honest, and very much seem to do the "quick" fix in order to get the car out, but still make the money they want to make. VERY VERY DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY! ...read more
