Yes I did not research it as far as I should- I was too gullible and trusted people- I had asked Don and Don had said the trailer could be registered higher- that may be in some states- however that does not work in PA- you can not register a trailer higher than what is stamped on the vin plate- I merely hope that somebody does not repeat my mistake- some things I would improve if I would build another one- I would request that they paint the underbody and I would use a hardwood floor -my cyclinders do still leak everytime we cycle it- I had it to a hydraulic shop and they said better cyclinders should be used- we have an electric winch and electric powered hydraulic pump- if you use them too much the battery charger can not keep after-so we want to add another battery- we also added a remote which makes it handy for the different functions- it is a good design- however I feel the quality could improve- paint, flooring, bed sags in the middle when loaded- I beams aren't strong enough ...read more

My late husband purchased a trailer and truck conversion from Don at Haul-A-Round Trailers over 2 years ago . he passed sudenly while under a load over 1500 miles from home. I did not know what to do . called the company he loaded for and they took care of the load . then as a desperite move called Haul-A-Round to see what to do with the truck and trailer and how to get it home. Don helped above and beyond , he went 7oo miles out of his way , loaded his truck on our trailer and took it back to Marlow, then sold the truck and trailer for me to settel my husbands affairs . he did not charge one dime to go get the truck and trailer, or to sell them for me.
