RIP Prince Horse-Alleluia Prince has gone to Heaven   My beautiful and sweet and brave Horse Prince was involved in a serious 2 horse collision with a Thoroughbred who broke my horse's shoulder.My Prince stood still while the Thoroughbred hit him like a Mack Truck- The Barn Owner turned the horses out after being in the barn all day and was negligent in his care of Prince-he should have only been turned out with the other senior horses-Prince was still in recovery---I am in shock and in great mourning for this great horse that was an amazing soul--He is greatly missed-and I have lost a loyal friend-I fought for this horse every step of the way and He knew that I would be there-I can say that he trusted me and that was an honor-To all who have ever loved a horse, Prince was more than worthy of all the work, ridicule, love and money that it took-and I am forever changed for knowing him-My heart is broken-=truly broken-for this accident could have been avoided- Prince is the 3rd horse to die at this farm-We will continue to raise $ for filing fees and to continue our vision to help others-We are looking for a farm in the Riverside School District to rent to provide sanctuary to other horses that would become a part of our organization-Just 2 weeks ago, we could have taken a leopard Appaloosa that needed us-but with all of the expenses incurred by the Veterinary Care for Prince, etc. and no farm of our own, this horse had to find another place for rehab- ...read more
