On May 21, 2010 at the Sanctuary for Senior Dogs Annual Meeting I was honored to accept the 2009 Compassion Award in recognition of outstanding service to Senior Dogs in Cleveland. I would like to thank the Sanctuary for Senior Dogs for the experience of working with their organization. It all started with Muffin, an old dog who melted hearts from Cleveland to Marblehead and everywhere in between. I encourage others to get involved with this organization, if you don't have the time to volunteer or foster, make a monetary contribution. Today the 21st Chanukah begins at sundown for our Jewish friends and neighbors, followed by Christmas on Thursday and then the New Year next week. The Holidays are here! I wish you all peace, joy and love in your hearts especially in times when it may seem hard to do so. Glenn Beck just recently made a comment about some of the best Christmas' were when he had the least. Going to see The Christmas Sweater changed our outlook on the close of 2008 and showed us a new path for 2009.
