As a healthcare provider with over 10 years of experience, I know how healthcare facilities should operate. I was aghast with the service I was provided. The moment I walked in the door, I didn't know where to go so I went to the reception desk. The young male effeminate guy (and I'm gay, so i'mnot being disrespectful) looked at me like I was nuts. I asked him where I sh ould go, and he pointed in the general direction of the elevator. As I didnm't know where I was going, I walked past the elevator and into a supposed staff area, though there were no signs indicating so. An old bald fat security gaurd came out and asked me extremely rudely where I thought I was going. As he pointed the elevator out, he waddled back into his cubby and was talking about me with a coworker, saying that I thought I could go anywhere I wished and that they needed to put a sign up. Then I went to my appointment. The whole time I was with the assistant, she kept the office door open (a major HIPPA violation) and conversed with a coworker the whole time she was working with me. The provider came into the office and acted like she could care less about me, barely looking me in the eye. Thank You for serving with your GOD given gifts. Thank You for serving your community with integrity and for your time. A poem... Strength in Length I've lost the strength to walk and lift. I'M still able to stand strong. I Thank GOD I can still feed myself. Though I don't know for how long. It's strange to watch your body fade. Knowing the strength's not coming back. Though somehow I'M still growing strong. It's just the muscles that I lack. Some days I must dig real deep, To find the strength to carry on. There may be someone watching me. They may remember when I'M gone. They'll Remember how I didn't give up, And somehow draw some strength from that. They'll remember how I always stood. When life knocked me to the mat. Resurrection Day (Remembering Easter) By Marion Jones4/1/09 Easter to some folks is dressing up and going to church.As matter of fact, that's one of the times when some folks come and sit on their perch. Taking out, the true meaning of Easter, turning it into a fashion show.Making a big entrance to just be seen, and not even saying hello. Coming in late and making noise while service is going on,while the Pastor preaches the word, getting up and to go nowhere. Now ya know ya wrong! You see Jesus was beaten, whipped, tortured, stabbed, and then hung.Could you take what He took, could you do what He's done?
