i dropped off a friend a few blocks away. as i was driving by on Forest Ave in SI i saw this establishment. pulled into the lot and walked inside. at first it all looked the same. then as i was asked if i could be helped it started. as i tasted different varities of dry sausage and sopersata i was impressed. a lot of places never have it aged(cured) properly. the flavor was outstanding. then i tried the aged imported sharp provolone cheese. i thought i was back at my sicilian grandma gatto's. i purchased enough to feed 5 households for the Christmas holiday and a little extra for my own stash. to all my friends and family and everyone else give this place a try i think you will be impressed. ...read more

I found Arrochar Meats online and they had received great reviews. I have to add to those reviews! I called and spoke with Dominic who was super helpful with my Easter leg of lamb request. The lamb was delicious, tender and he had the meat cut exactly to my request. Dominic was very accommodating and so friendly. I will absolutely be getting all of my meats (chicken cutlets, steak, summer BBQ meats, etc) from him. They are also so clean - none of that typical ""meaty"" smell - and their products are so fresh.
