I ordered a small telescope(USD87) from B&H and arrived to the customs in a reasonably time. I paid USD 46 for the delivery cost which is also nothing to complain about. However the item stuck in the customs because of missing digits in HS Code. It was impossible to clear and get the items with these codes. So I contacted B&H for a return actually a recall as I dont physically have them with myself. They quoted me some USD 255 for the return ! This was rediculous. This means my return right is usurped, this is that simple. As a customer I don't care about company's third party relations or agreements with logistic partners but what I will definitely expect is a trusty and fair manner in each part of the service; this is selling and returning practices. These guys are the best con men I have ever had the misfortune to meet. the sold me a camera at 5 times what it was worth. After complaining to the NY Consumer affairs, and Visa, I finally got the money refunded 6 months later. Do not set foot in this place. Their patter is very slick and it is easy to think that they are nice guys. They are not. I can't understand why the City doesn't shut them down. A few considerations Before installing the HID lights on an old car, regulation needs to be checked. Not all lights which are available with the HID kits on the market are actually road-legal. It means that they can be too strong for normal cars on the road. Fines are applicable in this case. It is why car owners need to check the lumen of the chosen lights. Typical xenon lights can product around 3.000 lumens. This is considerably more than the 1.4000 lumens of halogen lights. Those unsure about the lumen legality in their state can check the issue with local authorities before purchasing the best HID bulbs. But thebest Hid kitshould be legal for the road.
