Had a wash, cut and blow dry at Eric Alt Salon North yesterday. I love coming here because of the professional atmosphere and excellent service. Althea cut my hair and she was delightful! I never had a hairstylist who explained properly how to fix my hair when I got home-that is, without prompting from me! When my hair was longer, Samantha gave me fabulous updos as well. I also like the "mini-boutique at the entry of the salon. It's a nice touch and prices are extremely reasonable. Decor is hip and the coconut tea is a nice touch. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the salon was clean. The atmosphere was nice, aside from feeling like I was in the road, but that doesn't really matter. The woman who cut my hair (I forget her name, this was about a year ago) was very sweet. However, my haircut wasn't really pleasing, especially since I paid through the roof for it.
