Sean Radcliffe (English Craftsmen) was contracted to draw plans (was paid separately) and perform a $186,000 home renovation on my home in Tinton Falls. He drew plans that twice failed because he neglected to check the towns zoning laws. He asked for $6,000 before the plans were denied the second time, claiming it was to secure permits. As the project was already delayed 2 months from his plans, he continued to stress he didn't have enough money to start the job after signing the contract with the bank. When the plans were denied the second time by the town (he advised us not to attempt a variance application), we terminated our contract for his incompetence. He refused to speak with bank, nor did he ever visit the town to understand why things were being denied. After termination, he has gone radio silent, refuses to answer calls, texts or emails.
