So I see a rug 9' x 13' listed for $129.00 since everyone else is selling it for over $700 I figure its a typo, I try to call them but no answer so on 2/1/14 (sat) I order the rug figuring if there's a problem they will notify me. On Monday the 3rd I check and find they have taken the money from my credit card, Great!! Well since their web site states that orders are shipped within 4 to 5 business days when I haven't heard anything by Sat the 8th I call them, again no answer. I then E-mail them, no response. On Monday the 10th I call them(around 11:00 their time). This time I actually talk to someone who after talking to the manufacturer tells me the price is wrong on their web site and it will cost me over $500 more to get the rug. As a small business owner myself I'm not so upset about the price mix up but what chaps my hide is A) No one calls me for over a week to tell me the problem B) They sure didn't think twice about taking my money and C) though it was in no way my fault they didn't offer any kind of rectification for their screw up! What were they going to do just keep my money and hope I didn't call? The guy I talked to, who said he was the owner was impolite at best. I would NEVER do business like that I will NEVER do business with this company again and would surely never recommend them to anyone else!! ...read more
Antique wool rugs are fragile so gentleness and care should be taken when trying to keep them clean. They do get dirty from time to time but they cannot be cleaned like most rugs.
