Wakefield Nails is the worst nail salon I've ever been to! I've been getting my nails done consistently for the past 2 years and I've never been treated with such DISRESPECT!! I sat down to get my nails filled and after taking the polish off of one of my hands the nail tech started with another customer and left me there for over an hour! When I finally had enough of waiting, I got up and told them I would take my business else where and instead of apologizing they started yelling at me! To put in perspective how long I was waiting.. my mom sat down 10 minutes before me and had an ENTIRE fill in done while I was still waiting for my previous polish to be taken off! The best part was they still tried to charge me for a fill in!!!! I never write reviews but I really feel that after the way I was treated today it is necessary! I will never go here again & HIGHLY DISCOURAGE anyone else from going here as well! SHAME ON YOU Wakefield Nails for treating your customers so poorly!!!!! ...read more

Had a gel polish applied to my fingernails on Wed. & by Sunday it was peeling off 3 nails. Went back in today- still less than a week since first applied- and -#1 he PEELED it off- I've always been told not to do that d/t damage to the nails,#2- he talked on the phone while "fixing" the mess ( I had a a similar experience during a pedicure there) & #3- about 2 hours after this I was baking cookies and now 2 other nails are peeling. Don't know if it's the polish or technique but I do know this is not my first experience with gel polish and I have never experienced this before. So between peeling polish and unprofessionalism, I'd never go back or recommend them- maybe that's why they have coupons all the time but you do get what you pay for apparently! ...read more
