Angry

Had a gel polish applied to my fingernails on Wed. & by Sunday it was peeling off 3 nails. Went back in today- still less than a week since first applied- and -#1 he PEELED it off- I've always been told not to do that d/t damage to the nails,#2- he talked on the phone while "fixing" the mess ( I had a a similar experience during a pedicure there) & #3- about 2 hours after this I was baking cookies and now 2 other nails are peeling. Don't know if it's the polish or technique but I do know this is not my first experience with gel polish and I have never experienced this before. So between peeling polish and unprofessionalism, I'd never go back or recommend them- maybe that's why they have coupons all the time but you do get what you pay for apparently!

Totally not professional!

I had been going to one of the Tech's for years. I just recently stop going because she had gotten to the point of hurting my nails so bad I couldn't stand it. The would itch and hurt for 3 or 4 days. Then she has the nerve to say its because of my nails being thin!!!Duh!!! You made then very thin by drilling them to death...

She would constantly get up if a customer would come in the door for eyebrow...she first started to ask and I would say it was okay, for the first two times, then she got to the point of just hopping up and doing other's eyebrows without asking me at all.

I had a appt one day and she talks so much and takes walk in for eyebrows that I didn't get into her chair until 1hr later....yes I know I should've walked out, but I had a wedding to be in that wedding and need them done...her reason was...I didn't realize the time....ugh!! She didn't even give me a discount at all.

There's a guy in there named Eric, he is so rude, and thinks he knows everything about nails and I had to go to him once...within a week one of my nails started to come off...I went back and he said I guess you hit it on something...I said no I didn't...he said I never have other complaints I've been doing nails for years....I said SO!!!

Out of all of them there, Luke is the best, he quick and very nice and knows what he's doing....

I have since left and started going to another salon after 7yrs with Pro Nails...I really didn't realize what I had been missing...OMG, this salon is so nice with dryers that are very fancy and everything is totally updated...I hate I spent so much years there, but my tech only started hurting me the last 4mos....You live and learn!!!

I used to LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM.....

(THIS IS AN UPDATE, 2-28-08) I had been going for over 10 years at this location. I had tried other nail salons in Raleigh but I kept coming back to Pro-Nails on Atlantic and Millbrook. They offer waxing services, acrylic, natural, and alot of other services as well. The prices are competitive and they accept any valid coupon offered by their competition.
With all of that said, I don't know what has happened to their shop in the past few months. Their service has gone waaaaay down. I have stopped going there all together. The last time I went to get my nails done the girl drilled my nail so far down that I screamed! I was bleeding, and she just blew it off as if it was a non-issue. Well it was a big issue... First of all it hurt, I'm not too keen on paying someone to hurt me, Second she acted as if it was not a problem, no ""I'm sorry"", or nothing!
I also have a big problem with going to get my nails done and in the middle of it when someone else walks in to get their eyebrows done or some other waxing the technician gets up and goes to the other customer... This happens all of the time at ProNails.... unacceptable! I am paying for my time with the nail tech to do my nails, not to leave me and go pluck someone's hair out! So there you have it...
