Potters Lining and Coating Services sprayed my tanks under the hog manure pits, and they used a product by a company called Spray-Lining. Brian at Potters Lining and Coating Services said they used this product because of its non-toxic nature and because they don’t have any Spray-Lining Complaints with the product, unlike the polyurea products used by his other company, Line-X. They explained that most of the coating companies spray coatings with polyurea that contain isocyanates that are carcinogenic. The area has to be enclosed and properly vented to keep the toxins out of the air. Spray-Lining does not contain anything carcinogenic and is safe to spray in the tanks with only minimal protection. I had never heard of “polyurea” before, I thought it was all polyurethanes or various epoxies. This was an education as well as getting secure, warranted manure tanks that will last for many years. That warranty is another reason they don’t get any Spray-Lining Complaints. ...read more

I had Potters Lining and Coating Services come out and do the floor of all 4 of my Arby’s restaurants. Brian explained that they used a “polyaspartic” on the floor, so they won’t have any Spray-Lining Complaints. I don't know what a “polyaspartic” is, but it looks really good. They came out looking so good that I plan on contacting the head company’s planning directors and show them and so they might suggest using Spray-Lining products on all the franchises. The floor is smooth, easy to clean and that “polyaspartic” coating was warranted by Spray-Lining for 20 years and does not have to be constantly redone every few years. The warranty is one of the reasons that they don’t get any Spray-Lining Complaints, because the competition doesn’t compare. ...read more

After I had my truck done by Potters Lining and Coating Services, I had no spray-lining complaints with the product separating or taking the beating my truck bed gets, so I decided to get a DIY koi pond / waterscape kit through Spray-Lining’s web site, since my pond is so small Brian said it isn’t cost effective to come out and do a pond my size. I got an earful when I asked about the Rhino dealer in the area. He said not only are the coatings that these others use more expensive, but they must be applied by those dealers because they’re toxic. He said they have Isocyanates which is carcinogenic, some have MEK which is seriously volatile and also carcinogenic. The Spray-Lining coating I’d get from Spray-Lining has no toxic VOCs or isocyanates so there are no Spray-Lining Complaints with doing it myself and all I will need to do this job is basic equipment. ...read more
