Troubleshooting Error Messages in HP PC’s during Startup. Introduction of HP. HP (Hewlett-Packard) one of the world’s best largest computer and electronics company. Discovered by William Hewlett and David Packard in 1939 80 years ago. HP is an American Multinational Technology Company, its headquarter is in Palo Alto in California. Founders of HP Bill Hewlett and David Packard are graduated in electrical engineering in 1935 from Stanford university. Hp provides a wide varieties of hardware components, software, and many other related services to its customer. Its helpful in different sector like in small business and medium-sized business, government, health and education sectors. Hp is worlds best and known today about its laserjet and Deskjet printers. Also, it produces more than 10,000 different electronic devices. The HP is founded in a car garage by Bill Hewlett and by David Packard in Palo Alto in California. It is specialized in developing and manufacturing computing, Data storage, software and delivering services. HP products also include personal computers, standard servers for the industry, storage devices, networking device, software and a wide range of printers and other products. Startup Symptom computer continually restarts. In the case, if LED lights glow or a user hears fan sound or the hard drive spinning, and the HP logo displays briefly, but the laptop stops responding and shows a blue screen. In some of the cases, the computer may be operating in windows but suddenly crash or stop responding. In most of the cases, an error message is displayed on the blue screen, the computer will not going to command what a user typed on keyboard, and in that case, it is necessary to press or to hold the power button for 15 seconds, to turn off the computer. One of the most common causes of this problem is conflicting instructions from multiple programs and drivers. Installing a new program will not going to be compatible with the hardware or another program may cause a blue screen. Perform a hard reset first. In the case, if a PC fails to boot properly, you have to perform the hard reset first. ·         Disconnect or remove all USB devices and media cards. ·         Disconnect the power adapter, remove the battery, and then press and hold the power button for 15 seconds or more. ·         Now reconnect the power adapter but do not connect the battery, Tap the power button, and see the glowing LEDs near capslock and listen to sounds of a disk drive and fan turning. Disable the automatic restart to view error messages.. In the case, if a computer is set to automatically restart on an error condition, message will be cleared off the screen before a user can see it. If a user is unable to view error message, or in the case, if a computer tries to reboot automatically, the user can disable the window automatic restart feature. By the help of which it will enable a user to view specific error message. Disable automatic restart. ·         Switch of the computer wait for 5 seconds. ·         Now press the power button to start the computer and then continuously press the f8 to enter the window advanced options menu. ·         Now use the up and down keys to choose to disable automatic restart on system failure and then press the enter. ·         Now press the enter key again to restart windows. How to disable the automatic restart after boot into windows. Tap to start, now right click my computer, and then tap to properties. Tap to advanced tab. Now in the startup and recovery section, tap settings. Now deselect the Automatically restart check box, under system failure.
