Usually I don't give this much review about installer but because these guys gave me a really hard time I decided to write my review about remote start viper 5607v experience on Dec-11-2014 :- Pros: Before installing, Jeff was a very respectful and promised that I will get the best service with life time warranty. Cons: 1. I received my car filled with cigarettes smoke smell, took me 2 full days to get rid from smell with open doors and windows . 2-The place itself is so dirty plus all the place smell stacked with smoke-filled in addition the fans and heating system ventilations are badly dirty. 3-Although, I gave a checklist containing all the programming that I needed and I paid for them. I didn't not receive the services that it should be. ( promised that the car wouldn't turn off after unlock it. So, I can drive it while it is running on remote start per my check list ) 4-The trunk wouldn't open and lift off like it should be. 5- I was calling them for 2 months now talked to Dakota and Jeff more than 10 times . All what I had been told that they are so busy and they can't even see my car . 6-As I'm a car Geek and used to customized clusters and install Car GPs. I left 2 connected wires unused for small led's above driver pedals. When I received my car after installing remote start I noticed that he connected these two wire which leads to burn front panel fuse and took me 3 hours to figure it out . 7- On Jan-31-2015 I went to the shop and I talked to Brain tried to fix my trunk and programming error in number 3 above. He threatened me that he will call 911 because I left rude comment on their page on FB. My Advice choose somewhere else to install your remote start . . ...read more

HOW to save money at the pump!!!

Gas Station Secrets That Could Save You Money Submitted by: Kira @ Tip Hero  05/26/2010 11:04 AM   Even though gas prices may be dropping a bit as summer approaches, gas is still a huge expense for drivers everywhere. Here are a few secrets that MSN Money uncovered about gas stations that could help save you money on your next fill up. All Gas is Created (Mostly) Equal:oil companies spend a lot of time explaining why their gas is better for your car than their competition's gas. However, the truth is that all gas is pretty much the same. All gasoline has to fulfill government requirements. State and local regulators are there to make sure standards are met. Also, some suppliers share pipelines, so their gas is literally the same. So in this case, go for the cheap stuff. Put That Debit Card Away:it may be convenient to swipe your debit card when paying for gas, but it may put you in a bind later. When you swipe the card, the bank doesn't know how much gas you are going to pump. The bank may charge you a set amount (which might be more than you actually spend) just to make sure you have the funds. This means that you could be out $30 or $50 for a few days while your transaction is pending. This means you might bounce a check without realizing it if you didn't account for extra money being put aside for gas in your account. The best thing to do here? Pay cash. Find Cheap Gas on the Internet:you can't buy gasoline online, but you can use the internet as a resource for finding the cheapest gas price in town. Head over toGasPriceWatch.comto track gas prices. You can also visitGasBuddy.comfor a network of 174 local sites complete with maps and message boards that tally gas prices by ZIP code. for more info go to www.budgetglassplus.com ...read more

Oil change myth???

The 3,000 Mile Oil Change Myth Submitted by: Kira @ Tip Hero  09/13/2010 1:13 PM   Most people recognize that any car should get an oil change after about 3,000 miles. I know that I was starting to get a bit uneasy the last time I let my car go over 5,000 (or maybe more) without heading in for my latest oil change. However, apparently, I need not have rushed straight to Valvoline. Research shows that oil chemistry and engine technology have improved so much that most cars can go several thousand more miles before they need to have their oil changed. Phillip Reed, senior consumer advice editor for the car site Edmunds.com, says that most cars made within the last 7 to 8 years can go between 7,500 - 10,000 miles between oil changes. Before you jump for joy and wait 10,000 miles until you fork over money for your next oil change, keep two things in mind: Make sure you follow the advice in your owner's manual. Different cars have different needs and requirements. Also, oil change needs are different if you do a lot of stop and go driving as opposed to longer-distance highway driving. Sometimes your warranty specifies how long you can go between oil changes without nullifying your warranties protections. Be sure to double check your warranty for specificities. Chris Martin, a Honda spokesperson, says that people continue to adhere to the 3,000 mile myth because the "Jiffy Lubes of the World" have convinced people of this "fact." Find out how to get a more accurate idea of how often your car needs oil changes and more over at The NY Times' The 3,000-Mile Oil Change Is Pretty Much History. ...read more
