I always try to get in to see what new stuff Daniel is displaying. In addition, he's one of the merchants that offers 'Higgins Lake' attire (many offer Houghton Lake, but our place is near Higgins). His prices are reasonable, he's a kind-hearted and talented man and I've always enjoyed chatting with him. I love the way his products are displayed and he does seem to genuinely care about his customers. I may not always buy when in his store, but he's never made me feel as if he doesn't have time for me. I have purchased most of my Higgins treasures (outdoor decor as well) from him and they're not junky or cheap-looking. I try to get in his store at least once a season to see what new 'treasures' await me. ...read more

I have been coming up to Higgins Lake my entire life and have always loved this gift shop! Even when it was called Trappers. They always have high quality sweatshirts and t-shirts, the best little gifts for people, and adorable signs and things to decorate the cottage or home with.
