Took 2009 HHR for oil change and to check noise since last visit on 4-3-17 when they replaced RF axle seal. Mechanic rode with me and heard the noise over noise of tires. He took other mechanic who said it was rubbing noise from tires. The sound is a clicking noise heard by the first mechanic... I explained and he stomped back into the garage saying "I'm not going to argue about it".Later I see on the receipt "Antifreeze is low"... nobody topped it off or mentioned it. Also said no wiper blade on rear, but it is there and OK, not needed also said the front ones were in need of replacing. They are fine. Same mechanic told me I needed power steering fluid, then later told me, "oh, this has electronic power steering and doesn't use fluid", How did he decide fluid was low? There is no fluid to check. 4-5-18 took the car to dealership for tires. Found the RF axle seal these guys installed on 4-17 leaking/needs replacement. I recall it took 2 of them and they had to use a 2X4 to get it in. ...read more

I had them order a part for me, and they said that they would call when it arrived. The I called a week later, and they mentioned that the part had not arrived. Then after not hearing anything I called them, and left a message. Then I called again today, and was told that the part was sent back. They stated that I was suppose to have dropped my car off while I was out of town. This was not the agreed upon. The owner told me that I was out of luck, that I would have to buy the part and they would install it. I stated that that wasn't enough, and he told me not to mess with him. He used some inappropriate language. I asked if it was a threat which he stated yes. He said that He knew where I lived and my tag number, and that I shouldn't mess with him. This is the worst experience with a mechanic that I have ever known of. If I had to put less stars on this review I would. ...read more
