BEWARE: I recently used Omega Chem Dry Gaithersburg Office, Diamond Avenue address.. (240) 404-0200. They did a very poor job!....I am very dis-appointed!..I will never use them again. I called and voiced my dis-satisfaction. They sent someone out, but they did nothing. Basically went through the motions so that they could "say" they followed up. But their business heart was never really interested in trying to do anything to make the job better, or have a satisfied customer. At the end of the day why would they?..they already got paid...so who cares!... They are not a company of integrity. I orginally went with them because they had a better price,,,well like they say.."you get what you pay for"...I guess... Their service is of very poor quality. The guys that came out were very nice. I logged on to my work computer this morning and to my surprise , there was a new screen on my home page with files I am not familiar with. I rebooted to get my previous screen but to no avail. I almost started to panic as there are a lot of very important files on my homepage. I called around several places but received the best response from Smart tech. Within five minutes, he was in my office and rectified the problem in a short time. He was very professional and made me feel at ease. Review I had been having issues with my computer for awhile but had chose to ignore them due to being busy preparing to move. The day I decide I needed to address the commonly frustrating task of Tech problems, I goggled local Computer Techs and chose Smart Techs and I am so happy I did. The tech worked me into his schedule to come out to my home that same day. He explained to me what the problems were and how they could be resolved. I told him I would also like to purchase a new laptop and make a change over to using that more frequently. He guided me in all my decisions about repair and the purchase of a laptop. As commented in other reviews, it was a perfectly comfortable conversation. Not for one second did he make me feel that I should be embarrassed to be an adult, living in this high tech world, and not know all the mechanics of how a computer operates or the proper “lingo”. He was extremely honest and his attitude was that he wanted to take care of my situation because computers can and do have a variety of levels of maintenance and that is why he has a livelihood and I have my own. Our experience was less than desirable. The owner operator spoke in broad general terms that can be easily misconstrued. A muddy description of the image quality and services provided for a 23 week old unborn child was given to my wife over the phone. When we arrived and learned from the imager that there was no point to imaging at this time. We tried to get our money back and the owner tried to make us pay for the visit even though no services were rendered. The owner then informed us that our only course of action was to return and pay for a more expensive imaging package. For these reasons, we do not recommend Stork Vision. ...read more
