Louisiana Archery has a good selection of fishing gear but is about 30% higher priced than other local tackle shops. A major downside is their warranty policy is you deal with the manufacturer as soon as it leaves their door. This was told to me by the owner and an employee. I would like to respectfully disagree with the review posted. First of all, we are a hunting supplier, so why would we not help someone because they are wearing camoflauge? I'd say that's a stretch there. Also, This person also says we don't service bows. This makes me think that person has never actually been in our store. We have a full service department for bows and crossbows. In fact, I'd say our professional bow techs are probably the best in the state. My experience with them is that I was COMPLETELY ignored by the store staff there! I don't know if it's because I wasn't wearing camoflauge or because I have long hair but for whatever reason I will NOT be going there again. I asked one of the employees there if I could get some help on a bow (as I'm looking to buy either a Bear Anarchy or BowTech Assassin and he just continued talking with some guy (I'm assuming that is/was a friend of his or repeat customer). The employee looked at me for maybe a moment and then decided that I wasn't even worth speaking to and continued on his conversation with his 'buddy.' I will NOT be back there and I will NOT recommend this place to anyone and will bring my business to another place of business. I don't care where I have to drive to find a good bow store I'll go there because a bow store is about customer service not being popular!
