I buy alot of automotive parts between carquest, autozone and O'reillys. My problem was last year when I tried warrantying out a $35 dollar wheel bearing. I took the old wheel bearing into oreillys, (which was of poor quality) because it was loose and falling apart after only 11 months. So I take the wheel bearing in and immediately I am told that this wheel bearing "is not the wheel bearing they sold me" I asked how they figured and they said "because it has an excessive amount of rust on the wheel bearing". So I speak to the manager and he actually agrees with the guy at the counter!!! I take the other tire off and take a picture of that tire. I then put the loose bearing back on to take pictures of the difference between the bearing and the hub. I go back and they tell me the difference isn't big enough. I pull $4500 cash out and ask if they really believe I would lie about a $35 wheel bearing, they said yes your lying. I had to call corporate to get the part warrantied. ...read more
