I WENT TO THIS SPA YESTERDAY TO HAVE A MUD WRAP$50, A LIP TREATMENT$15, AND AN EXFOLIATING PAPAYA MASK$30. IF YOU GO TO THEIR SITE YOU WILL SEE THAT THESE ARE THE PRICES THAT ARE GIVEN. THAT WOULD BRING MY TOTAL TO $95. I BROUGHT A 20% COUPON WITH ME WHICH WOULD OF BROUGHT MY TOTAL TO $76 BUT WHEN I GOT READY TO LEAVE I WAS CHARGED $116. Excellent service...today was my first time ever experiencing a Brazilian Wax/Full Legs and it was definitely worth EVERY dime. Had appointment for manicure and pedicure and waited 25 minutes until they actually started. The room where they do mani and pedi's is very dull and not exactly tidy. Polishes were old and unorganized. Not what I expected at a spa. I was never introduced to the nail tech, I later had to ask her name. Check out was an ordeal. I visit La Ritz Spa & Salon on 06/11/11 and enjoyed my manicure and pedicure. April did an excellent job with my hands as well as giving attention to specific areas of my feet. April also answered all my questions concerning my hands and feet. This was my first visit to La Ritz; but, it won't be my last. I had an aromatherapy mani-pedi today and words can't describe how satisfied I am. Excellent service great spa very relaxing quiet smells good you have to try it . The young lady that took care of me was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about nail care, products to use at home. I was asked several times if there was anything I needed water, tea. I was thinking of getting a facial. I did a yellow pages search online and found La Ritz Spa and Salon. I liked the website, but had errands to run so I didn't call. While I was running errands, I had time to spare so I stopped in La Ritz and asking about scheduling a facial. They said they had an opening right now. I was surprised and said yes, I will take it. Daneedra did my facial. She was very professional and caring. I was started to get too warm under the sheet and blanket so she took off the blanket and put two cool cloths on my shoulder. I visited La Ritz last week and received a body scrub and a mani/pedi. They were both fabulous. The ladies were very informative and answered my many questions about other services. Daneedra made me feel very comfortable with my body scrub. April did a great job on my nails. And it was no easy task since i had recently tore some acryllics off. I recently visited La Ritz. I read the reviews before I went. Some were good. Some were bad, so I figured I'd check it out for myself. I walked into a cute little boutique. The handbags and jewelry were too cute and they were all original... not like the stuff you find in Conyers. After entering I looked around at the purses and then talked to the ladies at the front desk . They offered me a variety of different beverages from tea to coffee to wine. After filling out a small amount of paperwork I was taken back to start my service. Once I walked through the doors to the spa area I immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. The aroma was slightly sweet and invigorating. The rooms were dimly lit and nice and quiet. The sounds were nice and relaxing. Shehnila was very sweet and wuite knowledgeable. I've been to a few spas and the rooms were always so small. So naturally I thought that this spa would'nt be any different, but I was pleasently surprised to find the room that I had my facial in was a descent size. I would have to say that the room was a good 10 ft wide. The service was great and the staff was very hospitable. The glass of wine I enjoyed before my service put me at ease. They were punctual about the appointment time and they never cut corners with the length of the service or the actual service itself. Lets start off by saying customer service was great. they were very knowledgeable. I called in to get a fill in... and the receptionist was very helpful... she explained to me about the Shellac nails. When i came in i was greeted and it was a short wait to be seen... My nail tech was Karen she explained the Pros and the Cons about Acrylic vs. Shellac.... I was so happy with the result... can you think no chips for 2 weeks... i will be defiantly come back for the Shellac ..... I must say my experience at La Ritz was GREAT from start to finish.Talking to the front desk Manager was awesome. But to top it all off when i got inthe technicians were just incrediblethey were so friendly and knowledgable and professional. WOW!!!!! it was so refreshing to have this all in one location. Let's talk about the ambiance. it was like a little bouquet in the front. i swear when i walked in it was like a chic bouquetin SOHO. WOW!!! .... All here in Conyers. I placed a phone call to La Ritz to inquire about their shellac service for nails. I've received the service before, but never at La Ritz and I wanted to try the location because it's in my local area. However, judging from this simple phone call, I won't ever find out. The person that answered the phone had a heavy accent and a horrible attitude. She was short, cold and the tone throughout the call was condescending. I asked the price of the service, she replied, "$35". I asked if the service included a manicure and her response was, "A manicure is $12". I re-worded the question and asked, "Does the service include just the shellac polishing or is a manicure a part of the service." Her response this time was, "Polish? Do you mean the shellac treatment?"...Needless to say that call was going nowhere and I won't be either; at least not there. Here's the thing, I'm a prospective patron with a question. I didn't call to debate the technical verbiage of the service or to split hairs about the details. Quality of service will always win the battle with cost for me. I don't mind driving farther but it's always nice to be able to do business in your own backyard. Word to the wise, the Conyers/Covington area is growing, it's still a small community and word travels fast. You've only been in your location since August and if you'd like to grow your business, lose the attitude and provide good customer service in person and over the phone. ...read more
