I used to go to Ideal Image, but was very unhappy with my results. I started a few months ago at Tranquilaser and everything seems to be going great. The staff are friendly as can be and very knowledgeable. My father went to college with their doctor so even though I did not know them, I trusted them because of that recommendation, but my review would not be glowing if they did not live up to my expectations! I would (and do) recommend them to everyone. ...read more

Hair Ideas: The 5 Best New Year's Hair Styles

There are plenty of stressful things about New Year's Eve: finding the right venue for your party, finding a date you actually want to kiss, finding a taxi home. The perfect hairstyle shouldn't be on that list. Stick with one of these five from Allure.com and you'll have one less thing to worry about. A glossy, sleek ponytail. "Sleek hair is trendy this season, and it's perfect for the holiday because it looks done," says hairstylist Kerrie Urban. And it couldn't be easier to do. After flat ironing your hair, mist a generous amount of shine spray (tryBumble and Bumble Shine On (And On ...) Finishing Spray) onto your palms, and then use them to smooth your hair back into a high ponytail that sits just above the crown. "That draws the hairline up, and the cheekbones along with it, so it's great for rounder faces," says Urban. "But make sure to wrap a piece of hair around the elastic for a polished look." She likes the style with a side part or slicked straight back. Bouncy waves. "Brushing out big waves gives you a glamorous Veronica Lake look," says Urban. Set your hair in large hot rollers (at least an inch wide), and then brush them out for a sexy, billowy look. "Spray the hairbrush with a light hold hairspray first to prevent static," she adds. A playful topknot. A typical bun is too staid for a New Year's party, but a messy top knot is just right. Tie a ponytail on the top of your head, twist it into a bun and secure with bobby pins. To create a roughed-up texture, hairstylist Mark Townsend mists the bun with a texturizing spray such asSally Hershberger Genius Spray Wax, and then scrunches it between his fingers. Slicked back. If you're going to be dancing, camouflage a sweaty hairline with an intentionally slick—and totally chic—look. Create a deep side part, and pull your hair back into a tight low ponytail or bun using a dollop of gel, says hairstylist Oribe. (Try Oribe Gel Sérum) You'll look sophisticated—not sloppy. A messy chignon. "These seem intimidating, but they can actually be pretty uncomplicated," says Urban. Tie a ponytail just above the nape, divide it into three sections, and roll each one up toward the base of the ponytail, securing it against the scalp with a bobby pin. Mist with medium-hold hairspray. "It may come loose throughout the night, but that's fine," says Urban. "If you want an even messier look, divide the ponytail into more sections". Cancer and Skincare

I am a certified in Oncology Esthetics, having trained at The Skincare Therapy Institute. Having cancer, whether it is treatable with surgery or chemotherapy or radiation can cause not only changes to your body and spirit but also to your skin. It is my honor to be able to help and uplift. Regular facials and therapies are not the right treatment for your skin. But, the right treatment can improve your skin and just make you feel so much better. Many products that you̢۪ve used in the past, like retinol ls are no longer recommended. Skin care products should be either organic or hypoallergenic and Paba-free. Including Reiki during a Oncology Skincare Treatment is a perfect combination. ...read more

Hair that can hold up in rain, and humidity in this Tampa weather

Want hair that can hold up in wind, rain, and humidity? We thought so. Your tress tactic: Cosmopolitan gave us these gorgeous and easy looks to recreate at home when you need your style to stand up to Mother Nature.   Heidi-Like Braids     "The perfect solution for strands when the weather is at its worst: braids," says Sasha Quarles, celebrity hairstylist in New York City. "They withstand humidity, rain, and wind, and work with every hair texture." Want a Swiss style of your own? Start by parting your hair in the center or on the side, depending on your preference, and then separate your hair into pigtails. Braid each side and secure it with a metal-free, fabric-covered elastic band (this reduces damage done to your ends). Next, take the braid on your right side and wrap it across the top of your head, using two to three bobby pins to fasten it directly behind your left ear; repeat the steps above with the opposite braid.     Slicked-Back Pony If you don't want to go the braided route, you'll definitely need a style that will hold in temperamental weather. Try one like Lauren Conrad's—it's sleek from the hairline to the crown to keep frizz and flyaways at bay, but paired with a wild and ruffled ponytail for an undone, carefree effect. Coveting Lauren's look? "Use a medium hold gel to slick your hair back and pull it into a tight ponytail at your crown," says Quarles. "Enlist the help of a boar bristle brush to get hair super-smooth." If you already have a lot of texture just go with it, since that's the beauty of this look anyway, he adds. For those with straighter strands to start, spritz a salt spray onto your hair, scrunch it into your hand, and hold for about 10 seconds; repeat this process until you have the tousled effect you're after.   To see all of the cosmopolitan article and the ideas they share click here   For a hair appointment cal Muse The Salon 813-258-2558, Tampa Fl. ...read more
