My experience with The Carpet Man has been a nightmare so far and is still not over. I paid almost $3000 (great price) for the carpet and that has been the only good thing about this company. The installed the wrong color carpet to begin with, the installers took the doors and closet doors off and didn't put them back on but somehow managed to get glue and black hand prints all over them. There was also glue all over the baseboards. Two days after installation we found a hole in the carpet covered up by carpet shavings and a seam that was cut to short. We are now almost 2 weeks in and the carpet is still not fixed. I would not reccommend this company to anyone. Hopefully they will eventually fix it but I don't think we should have had to go through this especially spending this amount of money. If you don't want the headache, go elsewhere... ...read more

Wow!!! I saved so much money from Lowes, Home Depot or Carpet One. I didn't have to wait for several weeks to have my new floors to be installed either. The local people working at this business are so nice and friendly. They went over and above my expectations and here's the best part........WAY UNDER MY BUDGET!!!!!!!! When I went to look at their HUGE warehouse on Wells Road in Orange Park, I was blown away. It didn't take long to see that they have a great operation. I even saw the owner there working. How often do you go into a large business anymore and actually see the owner. We felt so good about our carpet experience we went ahead and put hardwood floors in our family room and ceramic tile in our kitchen. I would highly recommend this company. They are the real deal. Antique wool rugs are fragile so gentleness and care should be taken when trying to keep them clean. They do get dirty from time to time but they cannot be cleaned like most rugs.
