I never thought I would ever patronize a tattoo shop, however; after reading all the positive research on the daith piercing for migraine headaches, I was ready to try it out. I am a total germaphobe and everyone I know is acutely aware of how paranoid I am. I was very anxious and several people recommended Doc of Rock. I am thankful to those colleagues. From the first moment that I walked into the shop, I found nothing but a very professional and totally clean environment. The piercing was explained to me several times and after care was thoroughly covered verbally and provided in print. After speaking with Tina, I decided to have both sides pierced. There was very little pain involved and other than a few days of mild discomfort, its been over 2 weeks and I haven't had any problems. I'm keeping track of my headaches - but to be honest, even if they don't work for migraines, they are really cute. I am soooo thankful for the knowledge and professionalism that was shown. If you have gotten pierced or Tattooed or even walked into FatKat's and then walked into Doc's you would understand what I'm talking about.. at Doc's The Piercing 'area' is one chair, in the middle of the shop and so is the tattoo 'area' it just doesn't look like somewhere I would want to get anything done at, I'm sure they are professional but personally I've only had things done at FatKat's which just seems cleaner and a more sterile environment and just all around more professional... I walked into Doc's last night during Light Up Ocala (honestly never knew they were even there, cause nobody I know use's them) I just can't... sorry but in my opinion, FatKat's is the place to go if you don't want to end up with a nasty infection.. ...read more
