I've been coming to this bookstore since I first moved to Miami Beach, in 1997.\t\nSince that time, the shop has moved from its former location to another space literally next door, and the new shop is sleeker and more upscale in appearance.\t\nI love Books&Books, in fact it is one of my favorite shops on the Beach.\t\nHowever, I do have one problem with B&B, and it's a big one: the staff.\t\nAlthough there ARE several staff members who are knowledgeable and helpful, there do seem to be an equal number of extremely rude and unfriendly people working there; one, in particular, is so rude and nasty that I almost wonder if she needs to be on some kind of anti-psychotic medication.\t\nIt's terrible that a couple of (obviously) unhappy people can mar what is such a lovely and well-stocked shop. ...read more

Tamar Judaica has the most beautiful Judaica collection I have ever seen. I spoke with the owner and she told me that she tries to buy most of her products from Israel, so I can feel like I'm doing something positive by shopping there. If you are considering opening up a used bookstore you will have to go out and locate many books before you open up your store. You want to have a good selection of books on various topics so that people have plenty to choose from. Finding the books can be a challenge, but not impossible. ...read more
