they towed my car for repairs, apparently when the car was lowered to the ground the part that was causing the problem was dislodged into working again and the car started, (very common with that mechanical part, recommend immediate replacement when that happens) never repaired the car, still, they charged me $371,93. Never told them that I'm an auto mechanic, at the time a medical problem prevented me from doing the work. Took it to them, they never did a diagnostic on the car, they did tear and replace, replacing parts under the belief that if they take enough of them the car will fix itself, it didn't. I have my own diagnostics tool, did the test, found the problem and when I got better, did the work. myself. I made a complain to the Division of Consumer Affairs of Florida and the BBB of Florida about Garcia's Towing and Storage, but I get the impression that there's something funny going between those three. So, next, I'm going to Small Claims Court in a few days where I will get the opportunity to prove my case, Those people shouldn't be passing themselves as auto mechanics when they don't even have the basic tools to repair cars or maybe they don't know how to use them. ...read more
