The Co-op Farmers Market, sponsored by the Newark Natural Foods Co-op and area farmers, is held every Sunday from 10am - 2pm in the Market East Plaza shopping center on Main Street.  The 2010 season runs from May 2nd to November 21st. The Co-op Farmers Market features locally grown fruits and vegetables from sustainable farms located in DE, MD and PA.  You will also find a wide selection of plants and flowers, baked goods, prepared foods, and art and crafts.  Every Sunday, a local musician performs at 11am.Everything for sale at the Co-op Farmers Market is locally grown or locally made, so by shopping the Market, you are supporting your community!
