Books by the Bay moved into a new and significantly larger location a few years ago, and brought in a coffee shop and bakery to their mix. Great coffee, great food. My only complaint is that they expanded, but didn't seem to bring in that many more books! As the only bookstore in Lewes, but one of a handful of coffeeshops, I was hoping for more emphasis on books, not food. If you are considering opening up a used bookstore you will have to go out and locate many books before you open up your store. You want to have a good selection of books on various topics so that people have plenty to choose from. Finding the books can be a challenge, but not impossible. ...read more
