Carolina Fresh Water

We were promised clean and filtered water when we hired Carolina Fresh Water to install a whole-house filtration system, but what we got was shoddy work from a dishonest company that doesn't stand behind their work. Our water smells bad and they have no explanation for it. We also get a pink ring in our toilets proving that the iron isn't truly being filtered out.\r\n\r\nCarolina Fresh Water did NOT obtain the proper permits to install the system and they also did not inspect the work after installation. \r\n\r\nThey ILLEGALLY installed the drinking water system and directly connected the drain into the waste pipe which poses a serious health hazard for our family if it were to ever back up; we'd be ingesting waste water. \r\n\r\nOur reverse osmosis drinking water system mysteriously stopped working after they came for their annual service call in which you pay $250 for. They came once to fix it and after a couple of months, it stopped producing water again and they told me the only way they'd come fix it was if I paid an additional $150 each time for a service fee. When I asked to speak to the manager, the employee on the phone laughed and said they'll call me, but it could take a while. After three months without a return call, I reached out to Kristi Beeler herself as she runs the business, she never returned my calls or texts.\r\n\r\nRecently, their new service and installation manager, James, reached out to me because they caught wind that I turned them into the State plumbing board. I told him, I wanted them to come get their system and return my $8,000+ because when they illegally installed the system, they broke the contract and he threatened me with a lawyer.\r\n\r\nWhatever you do, do NOT hire Carolina Fresh Water. They are dishonest and do more harm than good.

SCAM We were lied to. We were told our water was bad and would cause health issues. Me and my wife were scared because of our kids so we got it. The system made no difference with our water. We called the company and told them and they just said it would take time to notice a difference. After a few days we still noticed nothing and called them back and they said they couldn't do anything because it was now past the 3 day cancelation. We had our water (unfiltered) tested by another company and there is nothing wrong with my water. Also talked to the city I live in and they do regular testing on the water a few times a month and there has been nothing wrong with the water. It was all a lie and now we are stuck. DO NOT USE
