I get my oil changed at Tillett's as a way to keep tabs on how my high mileage car is doing mechanically. They keep me posted on what maintenance is on the horizon. They stick to their schedule and I am in and out of there quickly. Staff is always helpful and polite. They even have wireless if I need to get work done. ...read more

Tom, Joanne and Andrea are always friendly and really great to work with. They offer loaner cars, but this time I chose to hang out and have some coffee in their comfortable waiting room and catch up on my e-mails while they did a break job and routine maintenance on my Impreza. Everything was done as I'd anticipated and right on schedule. I can always depend on Tillet's Automotive because it's locally owned by a terrific family with solid ethics. They've always come through for us. ...read more

Tillett's is a family run business. From the start, they have been very helpful and accommodating. I feel confident that every time I need car help, they will be there to provide excellent service. I highly recommend them to anyone needing Subaru car service or car advice. P.S. Tom also manages to recondition and sell used Subarus. I would feel completely confident buying one of these when it comes time to part with my current vehicle. ...read more
So today we pulled a 2009 Shelby GT500 into the shop to install a Kenne Bell 2.8L Blower. I know it’s not a Mopar, but for all us horsepower fans it’s still a very respectable car. The Installshould be done by tomorrow morning and have a trip to the dyno in the afternoon. Here’s where we’re at so far. UPDATE 3/28/11 All done with the Shelby. Has a Dyno appointment tomorrow morning first thing. We’ll post the final numbers and a Dyno graph after. For now, here are some more pictures. UPDATE 3/30/2011 Dyno Done today, 571 RWHP 539 ft/lbs of Torque @ 5900RPM, pretty respectable for any car! ...read more

We just finished our part in a long and very awesome build of a beautiful 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT-8. It started out with some mild head work, bigger cam, an Arrington 90mm throttle body and long-tube equal length headers. At this point the Chally was putting out a very respectable 448RWHP. But like any of us horsepower junkies that just wasn’t enough. Next step was a trip down south for a new MagnaCharger roots-type blower and a Snow Performance Water-Methanol Injection Kit.( Our customer did it spur of the moment while he was down south, otherwise we would have installed it for him)Unfortunately there were some issues, several large vacuum leaks and a tune that rendered the vehicle almost undrivable. It was brought to our good friends at Fine Line Imports, who are our preferred dyno shop and in our building, after some discussion we decided to replace the nose piece of the supercharger which was cracked, replace some seals and we were ready for a new dyno tune. After another Dyno tune our customer still wanted some more power. So we removed the catalytic converters and installed a 7lb pulley on the blower, a 2lb increase from the stock 5lb pulley. After a very long and very in-depth dyno tune the vehicle made a very respectable 510RWHP and 515ft-lbs of torque! And just for good measure we installed a Hotchkiss 2″ lowering kit, Hotchkiss front and rear sway bars and Razor’s Edge sub-frame connectors. Again, we’re never really quite happy with the power we have, so next step this summer is a 426 stroker motor and a Stage II ProCharger Intercooled Kit, light weight clutch and flywheel, four core custom built aluminium radiator and a carbon fiber driveshaft. ...read more

So, we have a really nice build coming up in a couple weeks. We’re going to use it as a baseline for our 5.7L Power Package. We’ve got one we’re working on for the 6.1L but I am really interested to see what we get out of this. We’re starting with an 09 Challenger R/T with VCT We’re going to be installing a ProCharger Stage II Intercooled system, 85mm Throttle Body, custom ground Sinister Performance Forced Induction Profiled Camshaft, Long Tube Headers, (Possibly with a Cat-Delete) Corsa cat-back, Snow Performance Water-Methanol Injection and a Sinister Performance Dyno Tune courtesy of FLI. We’re confident that this setup will produce over 500RWHP on a Mustang Dyno. ...read more
